For that price I think its worth picking one up if anyone is in the market for a saw. Sure it may (or may not seeing as its always the ones with problems that you hear about, not all the ones that dont have any problems) have some of the problems that some have encountered, but its still got a warranty if your not happy with it, and the price is excellant for sure!

I was thinking of getting this saw...but am so skeptical of it, if it's the same as the DeWalt and comes out of Taiwan I'd be afraid it would give me problems.
I think I"m going to have to hold out for an Excalibur 16 inch.
