  • I'm excited, New Dewalt Saw today

Well not brand new but new to me.
Bought a 788 with a stand for $250.00. the fellow said he bought it 4 years ago and just never did get involved that much with it. He had a neighbor that did a lot of scroll work and sold everything he made so he decided to give it a try and it didn't work. I cut our 4 names I already had layed out and I'm impressed with what I've done so far.
I just finished laying out 2 projects to cut tomorrow.
I already owned a RBI but the Dewalt seems so much more user friendly. I'll probably be selling the RBI soon.

Well proud new owner lets see some pics of some of your work. Hang onto the RBI for a while you may like having a 2nd saw.

very nice. I really like my RBI and am impressed you find the Dewalt an upgrade.
I agree with the comment above about keeping the red one a while. You can always sell it later.

            Glad things worked out.

I just updated my older PC. The hard drive was 500 gb and eight years old. I cloned it to a one TB SSD (solid state drive). Put the cloned drive in and worked perfectly with all my old programs. The computer is now much faster. The new drive was about $100 and...

Once upon a time ( in the 70's) i attempted bow hunting. I believe the bow had a 45 pound draw. I quickly learned that it was not for me. It takes lot of hard work and practice just to be fair at it. Good is a whole different level. I hope you do better than I did.
