I dyed the spacers...
But spent 3 hours yesterday putting color-coding stickers on the scratch and dent books...then another 3 hours in the photo studio snapping photos...and the other 2.5 hours was spent working on magazine stuff...
The totem carvers are coming today, and it's my job to make sure they have all that they need, so I'll be up in the warehouse, etc. all day working on the quilt...
Have to make a short run out to get pumpkins, though...
No photos yet...

Bob they keep you out of trouble I see. I like reading your feed back on behind the scene work you and your team does. It makes me applicate more the magazine and wanting more of it knowing all the works that goes into it.

Gotta cut out 600 more fox blanks today...and write three articles, I already photographed three projects today...then design and build a display system for the projects made from John Nelson patterns we're selling...
So my personal deadline for the quilt is Friday...but then they are getting the cedar log for the totem pole today, and I need to debark that too......and this weekend, I need to cut out the final project that we need for the nelson patterns....

Reply to Testing this blower motorby RolfWithout the complete schematic it is hard to know what is correct.
That said, it is a multispeed blower that obviously has a controller board. That board varies the power to the motor. By doing what you did you bypassed that. You put power across the low and high windings. If any thing connecting...-

Reply to Testing this blower motorby evilbadgerIf he connected to red and black and the motor spun wouldn't that indicate the motor is grounded? Without connecting the white the circuit isn't complete and the motor should not spin.

Reply to Testing this blower motorby cwmageeThe reason for the smoke is incorrect wiring, posible melted insulation between motor windings and motor frame.
You mentioned connecting power to the red & and black wire. Did you do anything with White wire? Per the lable on the motor the black wire is high the Red is low. White common...-
