Wow what a difference this makes, no more vibration, mounting the saw to my work bench did not work. I remembered there was a post about a scroll saw bench and than I found this free plan, I altered the height to accommodate me sitting down, also my shop floor is covered with mats so I didn't have to put mats under the feet. Hey Don, Years ago when I had a Dremel Saw I built that stand. It was easy to build and worked great. I Don't have the saw anymore, but I still use the stand. I have my 1" belt sander mounted to it.

Great job on the bench. One thing I don't understand, how on earth do you keep your shop so clean. I can clean mine everyday and I couldn't come up with something that looked like that. Everything looks good. David

Your stand does look nice as I said. You do what is most comfortable for you but may I suggest placing a 2x4 under the rear of the stand temporarily. You may find as a lot of us have that it will tilt the table just enough that you can see to the lines to cut easier and it will remove some of the strain on your shoulder and neck muscles allowing you to cut longer and with less fatigue and less tightening of the neck and shoulder muscles. It is just temporary so what do you have to lose...You may find you enjoy scrolling even more than before. If you find you like it attaching the 2x4 permanently will be an easy fix for you.

Let me know if you give it a go. I'll be curious what you think of my suggestion.

I had to wait awhile to try your suggestion, had to under go a little Sugary. Tried it on Monday, it made a big difference in my line of sight. Thanks, Don
