  • I made something for my shop

After putting the plywood on the walls of my shop I noticed the 4 gang outlet boxes were not nearly flush with the wall. So I had to make my own face plates for them. I used 3/4" pine and some of the scrap 3/16" plywood from the walls.

Some of them were flush enough to use some 1/2" plywood that has followed me around for a few years.

Building something for our shop....something we should do more of. If you are like me, you never get around to making a nice home for the tools. Great Job Stephen

Very nice - putting the thicker wood on the outside looks good. I have a 6-switch bank in my dining room (controls the patio lights) and used a picture frame pattern on 1/8-inch BB to create a custom switch plate -- I'm very lucky that it hasn't warped, I think, but I do like the custom idea.

Roger, I included those in there to add a little more brag to the post. Thanks for noticing.
