Nice to know even the "Experts" make mistakes from time to time. I did a great save on a bandsaw box yesterday...thought for sure it be thrown out. That's where Mr. Fixit comes in.

Tough Danny - that is a really nice cutting!
Yeah, most of us have the T-shirt for the 'Been there, Done that...' club and it sucks when it happens. Even worse when you then stick your finger ends to the pieces when applying the CA glue - LOL! Better luck next time but thanks for showing the piece anyway.Jim in Mexico

No mistake - rather an opportuity for a redesign.
Imagine the two largest pieces glued to a nice piece of walnut, through away the small pieces. Maintain the same positions as shown in your photo, trim off the broken ends (now they become "cut ends"). Tell everyone you planned it that way!

by Quartz43Very interesting and well done projects. I have not tried a 1/8" blade but think I will. Can you tell us the brand of blade, tooth count and what bandsaw you are using. Sorry to be asking so many questions but you have the knowledge. Also, any tips for using that small of a blade.
