  • Baltic Birch-B/BB-1/16"

I am looking for some baltic birch, B/BB, 1/16" in 36" lengths.

Anyone know of a source. Sloan has it except they only have shorter lengths and will not custom cut.

I got some from this company: Search Results - Micro-Mark
However some pieces had big long lines on 1/3 of the piece. If you order ake sure you tell them that you don't want any lines on it. I found an Hobby store in town and they are ordering big pieces for me, I should them by the end of the week.

Not sure if you have a store which supplies hard wood or specializes in plywood sales .

I have purchased from companies that sell wood for building boats .

Check the phone book yellow pages .

I've been getting the thin plywood from Aircraftspruce.com. Last order they chopped the sheets to the size I like to use (1'x4') at no additional charge. They've got the thin stuff starting at 1/64" (or the metric equivalent).

Talked to him yesterday after he was coherent. Very fortunately, it was dc current. He said ac current and would have ended differently. And it wasn’t a house. It was a converter box in a marina located on a deck cut into a 20’ high steep bank. They had to climb a ladder to get to it. And they were...

Wow!!!! That is beautiful. Super job of sawing. If I worked it out correctly it took you less than a minute for each opening especially when I look at the amount of time it would take to saw the outline of the bear. Garry

Thanks guys, I have a lot of HDU left over from my sign business in various thicknesses.
HDU doesn't "fuse" or repair itself under heat or friction. Only acrylics and some PVC materials do that. Depending on what part of the world you are in, you would have to google HDU Distributors...
