Steve, contact your local VA office about getting a vets card. I don't have disability either but get the card.

I am on the east coast, and both lowes and HD are giving the 10% for a va card, HD checks to see if you are service connected before giving any discount. Any vetern can get a va card, just contact the va or go to there clinect.
