Marsha and Bill, those are some gorgeous clocks. They are much nicer than the imported junk we have in our house. Feel free to send me a sample, each one of you. My wife wouldn't mind a bit. And Bill, I see nothing wrong with Roman numerals, unless you're just learning how to tell time. If that's the case with you and have no use for them, PM me and I'll send you my address. I'll be happy to reimburse you for shipping.

I checked out Kidder's site and the closest they have is a 5 7/8 " insert which would mean enlarging the pattern to make it fit . But at $25.00 a pop and then trying to get the pattern the right size I don't think it would be worth it (at least not for me).

I am reading an invoice in front of me that has the right insert for the Rosemalling Kitchen clock before they were discontinued. They are a 5/18" insert and only cost $11.95 each. That was back in January of this year when I got the last of their stock in that size.
THese are the last two I made and I had to use these crappy looking roman numeral inserts because all the nice fancy arabic styles were no longer available.

Bill: no I was not able to get the Rosemailing Kitchen clock, I believe Wildwood has permanently discontinued it. I'm pretty sure Kidder Manufacturing in Canada http://www.kidder.ca have fitups that might fit. They're a bit pricey though.

I like the contrasting colors you used.
Did you ever get the Rosemalling Kitchen clock pattern from Wildwood yet?
I beleive it is on permanent back-order because they cannot supply the large clock insert that it requires. Apparently the company has gone out of business that supplies that insert to the various clock parts distributors. I think I got the last half a dozen or so of those large inserts.
I used to make quite a few of the round Kitchen ones because they sold better than the long narrow ones until the supply of the large inserts that it requires dried up.
I sold the last one off my own kitchen wall and wish now that I hadn't.

This is a Rosemailing clock, and it's the pattern I was waiting for from Wildwood.
Not as impressive as Evie's latest clock but fun to cut none the less.
I was able to stack cut them, so I got two for the price of one, and now I'm able to cross two names off my Christmas list.
The back board is Marine Ply, Mahogany, which I stained with Vermont Maple to darken a bit. The top is Poplar Ply which I painted a cream color.
