Is there a way to allow a (craftsman pin end) scroll saw to take plain end blades? I really want to be able to use them, but I got the scroll saw and some bades from olsen for free, and I really don't use it enough to justify buying a new saw.

craftsman also makes a blade conversion kit to enable 16 inch scroll saws to accept both pin and plain end blades. it is available on the sears website for just at $25.00, and I Am sure you can get it at the retail locations also.

I'm looking to buy this Bosch mitre saw and I'm wondering if the holes shown in the pictures are where the material clamps go. The ad says there's no clamps included so I'll have to get them myself.
Are these the clamp holes and are they generally available aftermarket?
