  • Pattern Help for Chase

Hi folks. My daughter-in-law wants something in the theme of fall; pumpkins, corn stalks, etc. She wants me to make it as a schwibbogen.

What's a schwibbogen you ask. Visit my album

    groups.msn.com/SSPPhoto2/craftedbychase.msnw

and you can get an idea, or enter schwibbogen and click images at google and get thousands of examples.

Any how, if any of you know of a fall stuff pattern I'll design a schwibbogen for her. As most of you know, really hate doing this scrolling stuff and designing schwibbogens. LOL, actually double LOL! This sounds like a fun project. In addition, grandaughters 1 and 2 (same family) want schwibbogens on a horse theme. Woe is me. Have found many, many horses in Wooden Teddy Bear so this one will be less of a problem.

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks for the info Denny. When I cut acrylic I always use a skip tooth blade at a slower speed. I just did not realize that the epoxy would cut the same way as acrylic so I followed the materials list in the article.

OK folks, picture. I finally figured out how to upload a picture. Here is one each of my version of the oak and cherry boxes. Note the axle peg holding the top in place but allowing it to move.
