I am looking for a pattern for a turkey napkin ring

  • #2
Are looking at just making the turkey pattern and attaching it to a a pre-made ring? Give us a bit more info if you could, what is your vision?

BTW, stop by the new member thread and introduce yourself, I'm sure at that point folks will be more receptive to giving you a hand in assisting you. (Just a helpful tip)

The turkey napkin ring pattern I am looking for is an outline of the tail and the head and neck is a seperate cut out that fits to the tail section at 90* making it 3 D. There is a hole in the center of the tail for the napkin to fit through. Hope this helps.

        Betsey,

I just found the pattern you are looking for. It is in Holiday Gift Ideas issue 17 from Scroll Saw Workshop, page 26.

          Betsey,
The pattern that Mike suggest comes out real nice and so des the angels. I made two each for gifts.

That's what I was wondering Betty: If these would work (larger) for hair?

The perfect solution when I need a wider top on my Hegner. A magnetic sheet! I decided not to get the Pegas as the only reason was for the wider top and the top feed blade. After 19 years, my Hegner is still running like new and I couldn’t justify the expense. It was a “want” and not a “need”....

Good idea Scott. Also, my daughter has long, curly hair. She twists it up and around and sticks a pencil in to hold it. I also stick a dowel in my hair when working and my hair gets in my way and I twist it up. The one in this picture would perfect for thick hair.
