  • Me On A Pumpkin

Well I have asked about this software a few times and no one is familiar with it.
I broke down and spent the $20 and now I have it.
The software does exactly what it says it does and is quick and easy to use.
As for using it as a scrollsaw pattern there are a few points I came across.
The pattern generated is exceptional, as you are making the stencil you even get a preview of the "floating" parts that would fall out of a pattern. Then you can modify the stencil to stop this.
You can set the brightness up to make different stencils from the same picture.
There is one drawback, the image that is produced has reference dots to poke through the stencil to mark the pumpkin. If you can see past the dots you can use the software.
I have contacted the manufacturer to see if they can modify it for use on Fretwork.
Lets hope they want to fill that void in scrolling software.

      Me on a pumpkin Update

I just got an email back from the company

We are coming out with Version 2.0 this summer. It allows the users to toggle on or off the dots. you may want to re-up with that version. It has a lot of other additions too.

      I cant wait!

But Carl, it's summer now, so I presume the release is imminent. Do let us know what happens. I'm dying to hear how it performs.
