  • What I do on long winter days.

    http://allservico.com/gallery/data/m...9/DSCN0827.JPG
Just wanted to show what I do on long winter days. Made with birch and walnut, I installed a six melody chime movement. Finish is five coats of Formby's tung oil. Mick.

    Mick,

WOW--that's great...I don't dare show my wife, though...she'll add that to my honey do list as well!

Your a good man with a good choice for summer activities! I've yet to play this year. Normally I've played at least 10 times by now. Life got real busy in 2005. I'm hoping to play this coming week with the weather is good!

                Folks,
This message was posted over a year ago, not likely that the file is still there.

Thanks for the info Denny. When I cut acrylic I always use a skip tooth blade at a slower speed. I just did not realize that the epoxy would cut the same way as acrylic so I followed the materials list in the article.

OK folks, picture. I finally figured out how to upload a picture. Here is one each of my version of the oak and cherry boxes. Note the axle peg holding the top in place but allowing it to move.
