Just finished something a little different. 9 layers of 1/8" Baltic Birch, each cut with triangle patterns altered and rotated slightly each layer. It creates an optical effect that gets more mind bending the longer you look at it. All cut from the same piece plywood, and all natural. But each layer picks up the light differently, almost making it look like different woods are used---and it's all natural from one sheet of BB. 9-3/4" square, and just over an inch thick. Done from an Etsy laser design that I changed up a bit---but of course did it on the scroll saw rather than the laser (laser cuts get dark edges, whereas we get the pretty clean ones!)

I really like the design. Great job of cutting and assembly.

Hey Denny, I didn't mention it but should have -- cut using Pegas Modified Geometry #3 blades. Zero breakout on the backs, and no fuzz to sand. Awesome!!Linda at www.ArtIngrained.com👍 1Comment

Great design AND super cutting. I will agree whole heartedly that laser is NOT a substitute for a scrol saw.Fred

The baskets are being added to my totes. Very pleased with them. All the wood, except box elder, are from Groff and Groff in PA. I have more of...
