The pattern is by Jacob Fowler. I used 1/2" Poplar and 3/4" Padauk for the base. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using #3R and #5R MGT blades. The finish is spray Shellac. Comments welcome.

Great cutting! That is a great test for the saw.

Thanks Fibber. Nice and smooth with little vibration. I used three blades to complete the project.

Love the Fowler's designs. Miss seeing them as much as they used to be published. You did a wonderful job.

Thanks Scott. I wish they were in the magazine also. It seems that when the book came out, they were published for several times, but nothing since.

The "other" magazine used to featured them a lot. Maye just a timing thing around the book. I am glad the Fowlers were in a few recent issues of SSWW. I hope to see more of them.

Wife, calling out from another room: "Do you ever get a stabbing pain in your chest, you know, like someone is sticking pins in a Voodoo doll with your image on it?"

              Me: No, Why?

That's adorable! I haven't received my copy of that issue yet. I think it went slow truck this time. When I do I am going to check that out!

It was great to receive the summer issue today as the snow squalls were flying I was very excited to copy to try the fretwork Parrot by Charlie Dearing. I have spiral blades on order and should be receiving them soon as well. Did you mean to cut the last bit of tail off. It looks odd that it has...
