    Defender of Freedom

    The knight pattern was modified, I took the cross of the knight's chest, off the horse's forehead and off the shield. In place the Air Force symbol was drawn. I cut it for a guy who retired yesterday after 25 years of service. Walnut frame, baltic birch for the knight, bubinga for the matting and oak lettering.

                Nice work. Looks great to me. I have always wondered why someone would cut letters like that, and not make use of the fact that they are using a SS rather than a bandsaw to cut stand-alone letters.
