Ian, I think they are great, all of them. I can't wait for my patterns to arrive so I can get started on my set.
I have two people I will be making the pig for, my sister and my best friend are both born in the year of the pig.
Will you be mounting them on the stands as show on the website? I'm hoping I can use the pig patterns to make plaques, I would like to add a scroll showing what it means to be born in the year of the pig.
    Thanks for sharing
    Marsha

Nice. I notice a flower-like pattern in most. Is there some significance to that or just something to kind of tie them all together.

Those are really nice Ian. Love the set. They are on my want list...after I get a saw of course.

Ian, I love them!! I made the rooster a couple years ago. But the whole set it just awesome!! It's really hard to pick a favorite, but I'm really liking that snake. And I like the rat you posted earlier. Now what are you going to do with these?? Great job!!

Thanks Cathy. At some stage, later in the year I'll try to sell some, Cathy. I was going to put stands on some and maybe try some with backers on them to hang.

Some are staying here - the horse and the pig are Sue and myself's signs - and some will be presents for family ...

They're fun and quick to do - and I found them good practice for doing long smooth curves ...

Thanks Mike - I'm afraid I don't know of any significance to the flower, except as you say to tie the designs together .. I was cutting better at cutting small cirles by the time I'd finished them all though ..

First, let me say those are beautiful! Second, I can tell you that on the Facebook laser forums those people have been hunting for sources on cutting and charcuterie boards to laser engrave various personalizations onto. Some are willing to pay for quality and the finished pieces show it. Others...

A custom order for the "Wedding Rings" designer unknown. I used 1/2" solid Cherry and cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 and #3 MGT blades. After sanding with a Mac Mop sprayed with 2 coats MinWax Lacquer Clear Gloss sanding between coats. Comments welcome.

If you are talking about their microlux, that is the same as the little proxxon saw, and it is the absolute worse scrollsaw I've ever used. They also have a 16" (the saw rebranded a thousand times) which is also a distant second in the running for worst designed saws ever.
