  • Some bits and pieces

Just been doing a bit of gluing and finishing - before my pile of cut but unfinished stuff gets too silly ...

Lighthouse from one of the mags. 1/2inch pine. Painted ply backer.

Hummingbird - Spielman pattern. 1/2 oak.

First Christmas ornament of the year - also a magazine pattern but dunno which _ I need an orderly system ..lol 1/2inch oak - too thick really but I was using up a scrap.

Off to blast some leaf backing pieces with paint now ....

            I can RELATE to that!

Well done all, Ian. Your cuts are crisp, clean, and steady. Great job and keep the pictures coming.

The kitty was done with FD-SR No 3 blades, Rolf.

I must admit I like that hummingbird better cut than it looked on the pattern and I think it might look good a little bigger - it's only 3 or 4 inches

Nice cutting on all of them Ian. I did the lighthouse on a pice of Maple burl. That was a job, I kid you not.

It took 24 good blades. Very hard and had to make sure the blades didn't drift.

That's a beautiful piece of wood, Chuck. How thick is it?
