  • How long have you had the same saw with no problems

I'm just curious. How long have you had the same saw with no problems at all/ I've had an eclipse for 9 yrs. and not one problem. I've had a few saws over the yrs but this one is a dream and well worth the money. Just hope I have'nt jinxed myself. lol dogs

I bought my DeWalt 788 in June of 1998, and aside from a little tightening of stuff, it's been a trusty tool...
    Love my 788...

I've had my 16 inch dremel for about 8 years. Would love one of those fancy new Ex's but budget won't budge.

I've had my dewalt since 2001 just upgraded to an ex21. The 788 is still a backup saw.

I have had my RBI Hawk G4 26 since April of 2005. I have put over 2151 hours on it with no issues. I have an hour meter on it that tracks when the saw is running. That equates to about 6 hours per week.
That 6 hours does not count the thread and clamp time.

I have my Hegner 18v for over 25 years and did not have problems with it in all of the years I own it. It is a great machine and work horse.

I recieved my Hawk 220 in 2002 as a bday gift from the hubby. The first motor was faulty. They replaced it that week and I haven't had any issues since.

I haven't had any serious issues wth my Delta P20 it is 10 years old, and no issues

with my Hegner 22v 4 years old.

If all scroll saws come equiped with an hour meter that would tell the true story

of their reliability providing they were properly maintained.
