  • Stepson's puppy Cass

This is the one I had to refinish today.
I cut one of these for my stepson at Christmas and this one is for his Ex in Chicago.
It's done in 3ply 1/4" birch ply and backed with 1/4" luan painted black. The turn buttons and hanger are 1/8 BB Backed with 1/8" BB and bevel sanded so they lay flat when clamping the portrait in the frame.
The frame is butternut resawed and planed to about 3/8", stained zar's mocha. Everything has 2 coats of shellac and three coats of Rustolium clear enamel
The portrait is raised about 3/32".
