Portrait in wood burning

Well this is the first time I tried this.normally I do scroll sawing and now am getting into wood carving.
But I thought I would try this as Igot a little bored and wanted to see if I can do this.
I already made the potrait with my scroll saw last year for my folks. So I thought I would use that pattern agian,but with the wood burner.
Let me know what you think.

spotted this on the FB this morning and had too look twice,too see that it wasnt scrolled,but burnt,well done..

I'm not in to wood burning but I think it looks great. I like it a lot. For some reason I get the sense that there are sun rays dancing around them.
