  • Christmas gift for son

    My son loves to restore old trucks and cars. He has an ancient Ford truck he's been working on for a while.

    This is for him.

    Pattern is by Trapper

      hey! nice rippersmom.

      I built bikes for quite a few years, (aye old arthritic UK biker holds hand up) and loved to tinker and strip/rebuild/build etc bikes.) would have been absolutley over the moon if my old man (sadly deceased) had done that for me.

      Kudos man for just the jesture, let alone the good work on the piece.

      hehe sorry mom, old habits, anyone in my book has kudos they are man, as in Mmmm you know what I mean if your over 50 and still hip. hehe.

            @Jan & Fran,
            Thanks, I think he will be surprised and happy when I give it to him.

            I dig it, and am most definitely far over 50 these days. Thanks.

            I don't know anything about Trapper, just liked the pattern

                              Thanks guys, I have a lot of HDU left over from my sign business in various thicknesses.
                              HDU doesn't "fuse" or repair itself under heat or friction. Only acrylics and some PVC materials do that. Depending on what part of the world you are in, you would have to google HDU Distributors...

                              My kids always call me since I am the one who probably did the stuff they are calling about.

                              I know it's scary to get that call, but I'm glad to hear the charge exited where it did before it went any further.

                              Probably hurts like hell and he has a copper taste in his mouth...
