This fretwork hawk was cut from Purpleheart wood and mounted on a board that was finished with hammered aluminum paint.

Dick, looks great but wish it was lighter or brighter can't see all the great detail I am sure is there in the hawk.
What size is it, it sure fills up that piece of wood. Thanks for sharing it.

Sorry, Jim, wish the photo was brighter. The wood finished a rich deep purple color. The overall size of the project is 14" x 16". DickDick MiragliaComment

As always Dick, a great piece of work. Does hammered aluminum paint mean that its textured spray paint? On another point, I found that by left clicking on a photo it increases the size of the photo.
