  • My 1st project is finished :-)

    Well, it's finished.... With the many issues getting started, it was a lot of fun.
    Final lesson was to make it smaller (about didn't fit the frame... Ah well, scroll and learn.

    Thanks again to all for the posts and comments (and the SSW), lots of good info and tips in here. I'm off to fine my next family photo - probably of my Mom & Dad.

    I moved your thread to a more appropriate forum to maximize traffic and get you more responses to your post.

    Did you make the pattern as well? Nice cutting it will hang with pride for many years.

      Yeah, it took me longer to make the pattern than to cut it (not that I was efficient with either).

                    After totally over-thinking this, I have decided to go ahead with the Micro Mark Saw. It will enable me to do everything I can imagine in my limited space and budget.
                    I thank everyone for offering advice, and I look forward to receiving more. As soon as I get it and set it up, I will post pictures...

                    Figured it out. The photos were Live and I had to edit them. As you can see, we were quite lucky they didn’t come crashing down in a storm. The last picture was a 2 trunk tree. My son already split a truck load today.

                    Next project, the roofer next week. Yippee....

                    Betty, I just tried a test, using a standard jpeg file. I clicked "upload attachments", then selected the photo I wanted to upload, then double clicked the photo, and it uploaded without a problem. Go figure!
