  • Deer & Tree Ornaments

Made these yesterday out of my usual 1/8" BB Plywood material - I use this size material mostly in my ornament making unless I'm using my own milled up material ............I usually stack cut 4 or 5 at a time ...I have a couple coats of polly already on these - but they'll need a couple more coats ..........MB

Nicely done Marshall. Do you sand between coats of poly?

Sometimes I do , depends on if the polly does right or not . I'm not really looking for that real slick furniture feel ............MB

Ha, I just made one of those too! Deer Christmas ornament - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Photo Gallery. I broke one of the branches on the left tree cleaning off the fuzz, but my wife said it's a tree, it's supposed to be weird-shaped. Character!

Your wife is right , and if for some reason you was to get a little burning from the blades on the trees - you can tell people that this tree was healing up from a forest fire too ......Ha Ha Ha ha.......
