We really enjoy seeing what people can do, and this site is full of inspiration and information. Thank you to those who keep it going. I tried to do a pattern by Dan Wilckens, called the Alphabet clock, for a wedding gift. I made some changes to personalize it, and installed chimes movement.

Very nicely done! I love fretwork clocks. I like your selection of contrasting woods. What did you use and what kind of finish did you apply?

I've always thought the Wilckens patterns to be quite distinctive. I've never done one but need to add one to my project wish list.
