This was commissioned by a neighbor of mine, its the first piece I completed with my new ex-21.. I really like this saw. The pattern is Sue Mey's... The pic is really grainy for some reason.. this is an area I really need to practice at, its hard to see the wood grain, I cut the portrait from Cherry and did the backer board and frame in Walnut. Oh yea and I used Steve's Oval keychain maker to do the name plate ...

I think you did a nice job and I like the name plaque, looks like a dog tag.

Good job on this boxer. It looks almost like my Rocky. Nice frame and name tag also. Keep up the good work.

For me to write something like this with my woodburner, even with the fine ball tip pens, is just not possible for me. The variations in the wood grain really complicate things.

A few weeks ago Elliott was looking around and saw a bow and arrows in the rafters in the basement. PopPop I didn’t know you had a bow and arrow. I don’t. It’s Mimi’s. Been a long time since I used it. Maybe I should get it out again.
