    Was asked to make a picture for a woman to give for a retirement gift. Russell (birchbark) was kind enough to help make the pattern. I changed the wording around the old school way of cutting an paste. LOL Also my wife helped with some ideas also. Cut out of oak using FDUR #3, #5 & #3 new spirals....

    I found this pattern in CWWC March 2008. The pattern is by Jacob Fowler. It is approximately 8" in diameter not including the base. I used 1/2" Walnut and 3/4" Red Oak for the base. The blades used are FD New #Spiral 2/0, UR #1, and Polar #5. There is one coat of sanding sealer and...
