    Hi Rolf.

I also sand before assembly using 180. The little birds are not sanded.

What grit do you use on the mac mop? Do you change grits for the final sanding? Do you mop sand with the bird attached?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments

Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments pattern by the late Diana Thompson. The wood for the birdhouses is Basswood and for the little birds, Purpleheart. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #6 Super Skip blade. After sanding with a Mac Mop, dipped in diluted Shellac, then sanded again. Comments welcome.

Both my browsers are set to 100% view and other sites look fine on my 27" monitor. Also the forum looks far too...
