My wife is a quilter and tried to make a bowl inspired by a pattern from a quilt. Made up of 1" squares,or glued up triangles. glued up cut on scroll saw then mounted on a lathe turned inside and out and sanded. Forgot to take a photo of the flat board.I think I will try other quilt patterns as they are a good inspiration. Also notice the highly professional photography on the couch;-)

I really like it, I agree with Linda it is really nice design application from another hobby. Please post pictures of the flat assembly if you do another one.
