Talk about instant gratification. Thank you Alex.
I had the pattern within minutes of ordering it. What software do you use to design these patterns?

I did get the last basket cut but it needs flap sanding before I can finish it. I can see this one would be a 3 drink glue up!! LOL

I use CorelDraw to draw pattern then export to 3DMax and make 3d model. I look what lines I need to correct and return to Corel. And so until I will be satisfied with result.

I went to the link listed above, but did not see the fretwork bowl pattern. Am I missing something? Thanks. Very interested in it.

Click on patterns, than compound patterns. You will see the basket at the bottom of the page. Click on it and it will take you to PayPal. Follow directions after you pay and you will have the pattern in a few minutes.

Just cut this yesterday. I stacked a 1/4" panel with a 1/8 just for fun for two different baskets. Maybe glue them up today.

Looking forward to seeing the results. I have three of his bowl patterns to try. Been thinking about gluing two 1/8" pieces of color contrasting wood together to see now that would look.

C12 bowl assy (600 x 337).jpg Alex I have done a dry assembly a couple of times and I get a 1/2 inch offset every time. Am I doing something wrong? I mounted a cheap laser on my ceiling centered on a turntable (not visible) that has degree markings on it. An early rotating laser level before they became more affordable..

I just took another look and realized that if I moved each of the 12 layers .04" it will center everything.
