I drilled 1/8” holes in the sides and the end of the lid. Rounded the top edge of the lid so it clears box end behind the truck cab.
Used bamboo skewers for hinge pins. I use bamboo a lot in place of 1/8” dowels. Covered side holes with forward uprights on side.
