Made this bowl from a piece of wood I got from my local Woodcrafters called Dalmation. It is very very dense hard to cut and sand but will polish very nicely. I used homemade mineral oil/bees wax paste to finish this bowl.
Jim I did rotate them a little just enough so that the glue joints did not line up. I glued two 3 1/2 inch wide pieces together to make the blank so I did not want a glue line showing if possible.
This is a Steve Good pattern finished today. First one this year in fact. Pine with amber shellac. It's going to work tomorrow to sit on top of my computer. What do you think? ...
