    So as not to waste good wood being THROWN away. I put it to good use.

    I love these. Excellent job! The colors are intense and very alluring.

      How very creative -- and useful! The ones left unpainted are amazing, with all the grain pattern! Is that your own design? Love it!

          Found the wood being throw out. Don't know exactly WHAT it is.

            I used those basswood blanks a lot some time ago, I found that unless you first use a coat or two of sanding sealer, they do not take stain real well. Often they turn out blotchy - technical term.. And sometimes they still do after the sanding sealer

            I used poly on the live edge too,...
