my bird houses

here are my little bird houses that I'm going to give the girls at work...



on the first one I made I used little fake presents that I got at Micheal's, they made the project look cheap so I ended up making the little presents out of wood...



the houses are black walnut, the red birds are padauk, the yellow birds are yellow heart, the presents are purple heart and padauk, the poles and base are poplar, the bases is painted snow white with glitter...

Those are great Trout. I think I cut several dozen of them...the wife attached them to gifts for the kids (band saw boxes) and gift baskets for our friends and neighbors (the wife loves to bake)

Trout - another great job. I like your home made gifts much better. For the gifts, did you paint the ribbon around the gift ?
Oh by the way, I'm now working on a spring version of this little bird house. I'm thinking that I need one for all four seasons
