  • First Christmas gift finished music box

Just finished this music box. Made out of mahogany and poplar. The white flicks are part of the mahogany grain. It is going to be a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She is seven and loves butterflies. The pattern is one of Sue Mey's. Thanks to all that sent me in the right direction for the music movement.

Very nicely done Dennis. I am sure that the person that will be getting that one will really like it a lot. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Well ... I am SO glad we tempered our enthusiasm. Show is cancelled. Apparently, things did not go as planned. Maybe next year.

Got to hospital at 5 and office didnā€™t open until 5:30. Could have slept to 4 instead of 3. Right knee replacement. Surgery was at 7, he was awake and up by 10:30, pt and out the door by 12. Not much to do today except take meds, and walk 10 minutes an hour. His knee has to bend back to 120 deg. Due...
