    Thanks. Only problem, the sections are not exactly the sme, so you have to rotate the top until it matches....

    Not much special about this box, except that I used all scraps including the box side. The pattern is by Gary MacKay and found in SWWC Summer issue #15. It is a small box measuring about 4" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. The woods used are Cherry and Sycamore. The blades are FD Polar #3...

    Quarter sawn white oak is the only oak that I like. I have several planks that will be a new dinning room table insert leaf, hat was missing when my wife got the table.

    Dave, I am rebuilding the floor in my shop and as soon as I get through, that is the second project I plan on doing, except - instead of totally "sanding it smooth", I want to see if I can "turn it" smooth after gluing - for the round ones....

    I like the idea of making a spiral bowl, gluing it open, then sanding it smooth. Should be interesting grain.
