I bought an 1994 model Henger m22v it came with several hiccup's that I'm working out. I replaced the connector and tension rod pulled the upper lower arms bearing look good, but I still have problems with the tension rod catching the retainer plate witch in turn stops the arm from returning to the full up right position. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. There is not much more that I can tear off and inspect?? Everything that I did remove is pretty much everything. Guess I'm just at a crossroad full of doubt.

Reply to Mitre saw material clampsby cwmageeI have had my Bosch Miter Saw since early 2000 and have used them three or four times at the most, That said is this new or is used? I am almost certain that they are available from replacementparts.com unless the saw model has been discontinued

Reply to Mitre saw material clampsby RolfYou can find them on ebay for your saw. Like KarlB, I have had my Makita Chop saw since 2010 and used the hold downs maybe three times. They have their purpose. That saw does need a bit of TLC. Check and make sure it is properly setup.

Reply to Park the scroll saw for awhileby KarlBYeah they are pretty popular. My brother makes them and sells them in the central FL area. I gave him some hardwood pieces to make some.
