  • I think I have him hooked

He's a beginner, so I guess it fits here, 9-yr old great-grandson - this is the third run through of the practice pattern. He's already cut a star and a heart. I'm going to have him cut out a cat puzzle from the Saw magazine next.

My Son-in-law said "Darnit, I cut this board twice, now. And it's still too short."

So neat to have a little one get interested. You are lucky.

Oh what fun to have a young one take interest in our hobby. Post the cat puzzle when you can.

Reminds me of when I started my grandson on a scroll saw. It gives them an other way to be creative. Have fun.

It took him a year to get rid of all the stuff for her. That actually cost Bruce a $5.00 donation to the club. All the attachments are Tormex. $35 was for everything. He’s quite happy.

I know Wausau from the boxes of paper in our office. They got 'Wausau paper' printed all over them. Always thought to hat was in China, though....

Welcome Ian from Reno Nevada! Glad to have you aboard. Some saws can be frustrating, and others we love. Lots of help available here.

$35 was a great price no matter what. Bruce definitely scored big time. And by the same token, the wife found new homes for her hubby's stuff that she had no use for. I'd rather sell cheap to someone who may actually use them than any other purpose.
