I still want a sanding mop! It is on my Christmas list.
OK, I'm a Newbie so I'll ask: What is a sanding mop?

Here is an image of a sanding mop, this particular one is from Rockler. I make my own. They are great for sanding curved profiles. Mount it in your drill press and go to town...

No matter how many sanders you have it will never be enough. I have a 6" x 48" belt with the 9" disc on the side, 1 x 42 belt with 8" disc on the side, oscillating spindle sander, random orbit sander, 12" disc sander, detail sanders, drum sanders, 1/3 sheet and 1/4 sheet sanders, sanding mops and I'm sure there are some I forgot, but I still end up gluing sandpaper to dowel or blocks of wood sometimes to get in tight areas.

LOL Tim, so do I. And emery nail files work great also. I have a orbital palm sander, oscillating spindle, 1" belt, 18" drum, 6" round & belt sander, my newest addition Guinevere system, and a drill press dedicated for mop sanding. And I use them all.

One of my more recent additions was a 12" Delta disk sander I bought used from a cabinet shop going out of business. It has become one of my favorites.
