I would like to know if there are any new classes for beginners starting up in the next few months in the suburbs just south of Chicago, ILL. Best near Tinley Park, Orland Park, Palos Heights,Palos Hills,Oak Lawn, or Hickory Hills. Thanks, Bill

Have you tried the adult education classes at night at local high schools? That's where my husband and I started wood working. -

Hi,
I don't know of any classes on the south side of Chicago, but you are welcome to come meet the Chicagoland Scrollers. Perhaps someone in that group can help you get started. Our next meeting is January 24 from 1 to 3 PM. We meet in the Hobby Lobby at the corner of Cass and Ogden in Westmont.
We have members from all over the Chicagoland area. You will have the chance to meet a great bunch of folks who are all avid scrollers. Hope to see you there.
