I'd like to make some silver jewelry using my scroll saw. Does anyone have a source for silver?

Try a Google search using the following terms:
silversmithing supplies
silver sheet 18 ga (or what ever gage thick you want)
If you want to really get into silversmithing, you will want to move into the 4/0 and 6/0 blade range; these are just too small for my eyes. Try this source: http://www.silversupplies.com/catalo...ws/index.shtml
Scroll down the page and look for Pike brand blades. I think these are really for hand saws, but should work at very low speeds. Don't use these blades on wood!
(Need I add a warning about hot metal and wood saw dust?)

Just curious, would you be using turquoise with you silver jewerly?...they seem to go nice together. Do you know where would one find designs for this. I have been making wooden jewerly out of various woods, and mostly using my own designs. Thanks BobBe the good,
you want to see in the world...

In particular the head is so lifelike it feels like if you got too close to this bird he (or she) would reach out and nip you with its beak....-
