dust bags

Hi can any one tell me if those bags that mount under scroll saw tables or the stand doing any good and catching the dust from the saw?

The dust on the scroll saw is very fine, just like sanding dust. The bag would collect some but I really recommend using a vacuum. It keeps the saw clean as well as the surrounding area.
