Dan along with Don R's fantastic patterns, and Mike's great suggestions, there is a very cool 5 monkeys holding hands stand up puzzle by John Nelson in Scrollsaw Woodworking & Craft magazine issue 37 the kids would love. Here is the cover photo of magazine.
If you don't subscribe already, you could order the back issue by looking on the left hand side of this page column........ under Subscribe Today, Order Back Issue if you choose to do so.

Dan if you do a google search for monkey coloring pages you will find a ton of useable pics. If you want you can have them color the pics and then you can cut them out as puzzles for them after word. I do this often you can do stand up style or tray style puzzles.

Here is one place I get coloring pages from.

    Monkey Pattern

I just got back into scroll sawing and have one hard copy book on the subject. A family friend asked if I could make their daughter a couple of different monkey projects for birthday presents. To save some time, I thought I would turn to this forum with its vast amount of information, not to mention the size of this network. So here goes, are there any patterns available containing monkeys that I can use? If not, does anyone know which books or websites I can go to for patterns containing monkeys?

    Thanks.
    Dan
