            And Wayne thanks for you advise which is quite good. After a good look at my men , as you said, with the hat I will work on the ears and his big mustache . I will try to rounded those parts as I did with my heron.
            But in person he is more 3D than on the photo....

            Some folks expressed a desire to see this thing once it was completed. This is the bowl I experimented on, with the little Kobalt miter saw.

            The downside is that, I used Hickory for most of the bowl. Hickory is a hard brittle wood but, it also has an open grain, which promptly absorbed...
