  • Pit Bull Dog

Would one of your expert dog pattern designers please make a pattern of this female Pit Bull that was recently stolen from a 10 year girl who is heart broken that someone would steal her dog. It was a puppy born to a rescue Pit Bull six months ago for her birthday.

Attach are the only two photos she had, I hope you can make a pattern as I told her I would be glad to make a scroll saw portrait for her as a gift.

Thanks for any and all help.

Larry, I'm afraid your pictures are too small to get any detail. I tried them both but didn't have much luck. If you had better pictures we could get more detail.
I just re-read your post and will try them again tomorrow. Too tired right now.

        Thanks Don R

Now I'll go and "getter done" and "we" can make a little girl happy. Thanks again.
        I'll post when completed.

          Wood identification needed
          by vgraf
I have a new neighbor who did a lot of woodworking in the past but had to give it up because of allergies. He sold his shop equipment and wood stockpile when he moved here, however he kept a few pieces of fancy wood and showed them to me. The first one (First Photo) he had no idea what it was. It is...

SLRA does a “spot” check. He’s lucky I’m keeping him around. It was free with a purchase at harbor freight. When people pick up a basket to examine, usually first time customers, they inspect everything for glue ups, drill holes, etc. of course, I don’t think half of them know what they are...

Back in my days of collecting antique pottery, I used to carry a a small blacklight unit to check for repairs that were invisible to the naked eye. I never knew that it could detect glue spots. That's a lot neater than using mineral spirits, or waiting until a sealer coat of shellac reveals missed...
