Hello Friends!
I am wanting to turn "Phillips Hall," the main administrative building of Barclay College, into a portrait. I am going to make it on 1/8" oak plywood, and frame it w/ a black background. I've done two other portraits now, which turned out good, though, I have only been scrolling since October -- so making patterns -- and even cutting them out
-- is still a bit difficult.
Attached are a few of photos of the school building. Something weird happened with the sun, that made the mortar of the bricks stand out in a WEIRD way! I don't want to cut out the bricks...that would take forever. Also, you could see the photo at Campus Tour - Barclay College ... it is the first building on the page. That picture could be the best, I dont know, thought it is low in resolution...it would be great to get the trees, like in "Phillips Hall 1", but, I'm not sure if it can be done with these photos. As I messed with the threshold option, I just couldn't find anything good. If I need to -- let me know -- and I can try taking another photo....
I would love it if someone can help me make a pattern! My wife is hosting an art auction, with all the proceeds to benefit International Justice Mission (ijm.org), and it is happening during an alumni weekend, so I am hoping some alumni will be interested.
I really appreciate your help!
Thanks!
Joel
