I have made about a dozen of these chairs and the "Daddy do list" has 2 more on the list as we are expecting another Grandchild in April and my daughter hinted 2 more would be nice as their set only has 2. An adult can sit on these too.
The pattern originally came from Lowes Creative but they don't have anymore. I have the plans scanned in and I will send it to you if you will send me your email. I am not sure if I can post here.

In 1954 I had one similar to that which had a spring return in the top arm for blade tension. It was set up on a bench for me by my father and had a treadle system to run it ..... I have no memory of the brand of machine.
