You could biuld one of that pick just study it a little looks to me like the front is a 2x2 and everything else looks like 3/8" then burn the wood to make it look rustic just sayin.Jerry

If you are after some great truck patterns check out "Toys and Joys" stuff. The got a great pickup pattern, it is a bit detailed but very nice.
Hopefully you can find them with a google search.

I have my first turning project coming up where I'm considering using maple burl vs. buckeye burl. I'm going for neutral colors and I think the Maple would work well, but the dark bluish? colors I'm seeing on some of the buckeye burl on ebay look intriguing as well.

by NC ScrollerHere are 5 of the 70 pieces I cut for a spiritual retreat coming this September. They are cut from 1/8" baltic birch stacked 5 high using a #1 Pegas Modified Geometry blade. They will be dipped in a 50/50 mixture of shellac and denatured alcohol.
